Terms of service
Last updated: 1 November 2026
These terms apply to the purchase and use of Shadowgap tools, such as Kitchen Builder for 3ds Max ("the software"). Shadowgap is a trading name of I/E Irakli Jokhadze (individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia), 1 Shalva Nutsubidze St, Kutaisi, Georgia ("we", "us"). When you buy or use the software, your agreement is with us. By buying, installing or continuing to use the software you accept these terms.
Payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Prices, payment, taxes and invoices are covered by the Paddle buyer terms. All licenses are one-time purchases; there is no subscription or automatic renewal.
License
A single license lets one person use the software on one computer. A studio license allows up to three activations, which you can move between computers. The license does not expire. You may not resell, share or publish the software or its license keys.
Updates and support
Each license includes updates and email support for 12 months from the date of purchase. After that the software keeps working with the version you have.
Acceptable use
You may not use the software for anything unlawful or fraudulent, to infringe anyone's intellectual property, or to attack, bypass or interfere with the license system or our servers. You may not decompile or modify the software except where the law allows it.
Ownership
The software, its code and its documentation belong to us. Your license gives you the right to use it, not ownership of it. The models and scenes you make with the software are yours.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or cancel a license, without refund, if you materially breach these terms, if the payment is reversed or not completed, if there is a security or fraud risk, or after serious or repeated violations of these terms.
No warranty and liability
The software is provided as it is. We do not promise it will run without interruptions or errors. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss of data or work, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Keep backups of your scenes. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under the law that applies to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force on the day of your purchase applies to that purchase.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
